Located off the south-west coast of Sabah, between Labuan and Kota Kinabalu, Pulau Tiga Park consists of 3 little-visited islands that are famous for being the location site of the first season of the reality show, Survivor.
Travellers who are looking for a secluded island to relax and laze around could do no worse than to come here. Compared to the almost always crowded islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, Pulau Tiga Park is a heaven-sent. The main attraction in Pulau Tiga is the mud volcanoes, where you can have a natural mud bath experience. Other activities are diving and seeing sea snakes on Snake Island. Visitors can either make a day-trip or stay overnight in one of the two resorts on the main island. An overnight stay is recommended as getting here can take half a day itself. Besides, as the photos shows, the sunset can be amazing.
